Delivery, Refund & Return Policy
- Delivery Areas
We currently deliver across Dubai. Availability may vary depending on accessibility and distance.
If a location falls outside our service area, we will contact the customer to arrange alternatives or issue a refund.
- Delivery time
Our delivery service operates on a best-effort basis. We provide 24-hour delivery for all orders.
- Delivery windows are estimates and not guaranteed time slots
- While we aim to deliver within the selected timeframe, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic conditions, security procedures, or unforeseen circumstances.
- During peak periods (e.g. Eid), delivery times may be extended
- Recipient Availability
- The recipient must be available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time.
- If a delivery attempt is made and the recipient is unresponsive, unavailable, or requests postponement, the order will be considered a failed delivery attempt.
- Re-delivery is only possible on the same day, subject to availability and an additional re-delivery fee, as all cakes are freshly prepared and cannot be held for next-day delivery.
- The order may be left with a receptionist, security desk, or any authorized person at the delivery location if advised by the recipient.
- If re-delivery cannot be completed on the same day, the order will be treated as completed and no refund will be applicable
- Re-delivery fees will apply for any second delivery attempt.
- Address Accuracy
Customers must provide complete and accurate delivery details at the time of placing the order, including:
- Building name and Apartment number or Community name, Street number and Villa number
• Area and nearest landmark
• Valid recipient contact number
• Access instructions where applicable
Incorrect or Incomplete Information:
If an incorrect phone number, building, villa number, or flat number is provided and the order is delivered to the wrong location, Boom Box is not responsible and the item cannot be retrieved and no replacement or refund will be issued. In such cases, a new order must be placed.
- Failed Delivery
Delivery may be considered failed if:
- The address is incorrect or inaccessible
- The recipient cannot be reached
- Entry is denied by security
- No safe drop-off option is available
In such cases:
- Re-delivery is only possible on the same day, subject to availability and an additional re-delivery fee, as all cakes are freshly prepared and cannot be held for next-day delivery.
- Refunds are not provided for failed deliveries caused by customer or recipient issues
- Surprise Deliveries
- As many BoomBox orders are intended as surprises, customers are responsible for ensuring the recipient will be available during the selected delivery timeframe.
- BoomBox may contact the recipient directly, building management, security, or any authorized third party in order to successfully complete the delivery.
- BoomBox is not responsible for any impact on the surprise element resulting from necessary delivery coordination or communication.
- If the recipient is unavailable, unresponsive, or unable to accept the delivery at the scheduled time, the delivery will be treated as a failed delivery attempt and handled in accordance with BoomBox’s re-delivery policy.
- BoomBox shall not be liable for any loss of surprise, emotional disappointment, or inconvenience caused by delivery coordination, delayed delivery, or recipient unavailability.
- Condition Upon Delivery
- All orders are inspected before dispatch to ensure quality.
- If an item arrives damaged due to delivery handling, please report it within 24 hours, including photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement where appropriate.
- All orders are carefully inspected prior to dispatch to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Customers or recipients are responsible for checking the order upon delivery.
- If an item arrives damaged due to delivery handling, this must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, along with clear photographic evidence.
- Subject to verification, BoomBox will arrange a replacement where deemed appropriate.
- BoomBox shall not be liable for any damage reported after 24 hours, or for damage caused after successful delivery due to improper storage, handling by the recipient, or external factors beyond BoomBox’s control.
External Factors
- Delivery delays may occur due to circumstances beyond BoomBox’s reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, adverse weather, public holidays, government restrictions, security checks, accidents, or major public events.
- BoomBox shall not be liable for any delay, failure to deliver on time, or impact on the intended occasion resulting from such external factors.
- Such delays shall not entitle the customer to cancellation, refund, or compensation.
